True Hardcore Survival
This mod adds a True Hardcore Survival mode to Scrap Mechanic. The major features are: longer grow times on most crops, more challenging raids at higher levels, more balanced bot attacks to players and objects, more balanced loot pools, more balanced crafting recipes, a progression system in crafting and trading for specific items and much more. This video covers why all the changes were made: https://youtu.be/iSsQ8lKZcDc This document contains all the changes in detail: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1pgTu5KQVamrs1jlpjSYhgeLRBG8vORsHMRUCmYHNlrM/edit?usp=sharing Here is the mod file: https://github.com/2-Divine/Scrap-Mechanic-Hardcore-Mode-Test/archive/main.zip To install the mod download the zip file. Extract the files then drill down to the folder that contains Data and Survival folders. Copy those folders into the Scrap Mechanic root directory. To uninstall verify the games files. To provide feedback the best way to do so is in the Scrap Mechanic channel in my Discord: https://www.discord.gg/hgEAAtH Special thank you to 2Divine and Khaiba for collaborating on this mod and making it possible! To incorporate the updates below you will need to download the mod files again and move them to the Scrap Mechanic directory. Update 1 (02/19/2021): Increased the number of slots for wooden crates from 5 to 10. Fixed the attack damage for bots against objects. If you already started a world with the mod you will need to pick up and place any wooden crates you already found in order for them to update and show the 5 additional slots. Update 2 (03/04/2021): Increased the drop rate for Totebot Heads from 10% to 20%. Increased the drop rate for Haybot and Tapebot Heads (CPUs) from 12.5% to 20%. Increased the drop rate for Farmbot Heads (CPUs) from 20% to 33%. Reduced the number of Tapebot Heads (CPUs) needed to craft the Refinebot from 10 to 5. Reduced the number of Totebot Heads needed to craft the Resource Collector from 10 to 5.
